Magnetic Installation
Basics walls must be installed using our proprietary magnetic system. Allow tiles to acclimate on site in opened boxes for at least one week before installing. Boxes should be on edge so tiles fan allowing air to circulate. Any new or existing surface that will accept latex paint provides a suitable substrate.
Instructions
- Clean surface of dust and dirt
- Apply a minimum of 3 coats of the magnetic receptive paint provided with your order
- Allow each coat to dry thoroughly and lightly sand between coats
- Unpack tiles, which have a flexible magnetic backing, and install on wall
- Tiles can be easily trimmed with a heavy duty snap-blade razor knife
- Using a steel rule as a guide, tiles should be carefully cut with a perpendicular edge; apply edge dye provided to raw edge before installing
- install tiles
- apply a light coat of the beeswax provided with your order
